New Chairman Appointed

February 17th 2025

A new Chairman was proposed and unanimously supported for appointment by the Parish Council at the Council’s Extra Ordinary Meeting held on Wednesday, 12 February.

Zoe Coshall, who has been a Tintagel Parish Councillor for seven years, succeeds Roger Lyle who resigned from being Chair and a Tintagel Councillor in January. She has agreed to stand as Chairman for the period leading up to the local council elections in May. At that time, all of the current parish councillor positions will be up for election.

At the same time, following the current Parish Clerk’s resignation, the Council has appointed Julie Fairman as the Locum Clerk for the same interim period. Julie is the Parish Clerk and Proper Officer for St Teath Parish Council and brings both valuable experience of supporting a parish council as well as knowledge of the North Cornwall area.
